Expect a rich blend of blues and country flavoured tunes covering a
diverse range of material: happy and sad songs, songs about booze,
loose women, favourite horses, heartbreak, being on the road, social
commentary, more drinking songs, more heartbreak, and a peculiar
obsession with trains.
His music is currently receiving air play on RRR, and PBS Radio in
Melbourne as well as numerous Internet Radio stations. Andre and his
band the Broken Hearts performed two headline shows at the prestigious
Melbourne Arts Festival (October 19, 20 2007.
Andre is a prolific songwriter. He realises that no one group of
musicians can keep up with his many projects, which is why he likes to
gather a unique blend of creative minds that he thinks can best
translate and elaborate each particular vision.
Since arriving in Melbourne in 2005 Andre has performed and recorded
with a number of outfits, namely the 'Broken Hearts', the 'Brand New
Companions' his 'So Called Friends' and lately, the 'Southern Star
Traveling Music Band'.
Andre recorded his first CD 'One Fine Day' with the Broken Hearts.
